Patricia Maria Contreras was born and raised in Miami, FL and is an actress fluent in English and Spanish. She is an only child raised by a powerhouse of a mother amongst all her crazy cousins and grandparents. Her parents are from The Dominican Republic and she has Lebanese and Italian background.
With her ethnically ambiguous look, she can play a wide range of age groups and character looks. She obtained her BFA in Theatre from Florida International University where she performed in many plays such as the lead role, Ma Ubu, in Ubu Rex.
Patricia is currently pursing a Masters in Drama Therapy in New York University. Drama Therapy is an intuitive, artistic, and creative way to therapeutically help others while still tapping into improve and play.
She was nominated for an Irene Ryan Award from The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) for her lead work in Ubu Rex. She competed in the Festival in Georgia and made it to the Semi Finalist Rounds.
Best known for working in local theaters such as Gables Stage and Micro Teatro Miami. She has also been the TV Host for RDTV.
During the NYFW 2018, Patricia walked the runway for Style Fashion Week in the Manhattan Center.
Patricia is the leader of the dance ministry at her church, Ministerios El Buen Pastor International, where she teaches different dance choreographies to the young girls and they dance every Sunday service. She has a passion for helping others, especially these young girls of the ministry to be secure in their identity and find their voice.
Patricia was born with a Port Wine Stain birthmark on the left side of her face. She is part of the Vascular Birthmark Foundation as an Ambassador spreading awareness about Birthmarks and helping others embrace their unique looks and love themselves for who they are.
